Things To Know!

APIM WILL NOT BE PMI TO TRUCK, YOU WILL HAVE TO COMPLETE THIS ONCE INSTALLED.

Due to the complexity of the SYNC 4 system, we are unfortunately unable to perform a PMI (Programmable Module Installation) on an APIM outside of the vehicle. While we can ensure that the APIM we provide is the most compatible and appropriate option for your vehicle, we cannot guarantee that OTA (over-the-air) updates will be maintained. The only way to fully guarantee continued OTA functionality is by completing a PMI using Ford’s FDRS (Ford Diagnostic and Repair System) within the vehicle.

The APIM will be configured to match the specifications of the provided VIN and aligned with the current software state of your vehicle.
